In
August 2007 Ron addressed a joint session
of school transportation workers representing
several school districts in the north Texas
area. His subject was "The Transportation
Worker's Role as a Frontline Soldier in Values
Education."
To introduce
the importance of personal values in the work
process, Ron described one incident from his
experience directing a wilderness camp program
for troubled youth. The incident involved a
teenager named Beto. Ron relates how one business
manager concluded that his employees acted
a lot like Beto.
